Bike and Segway Tours
Bike and Roll DC offers the most entertaining, and informative Segway and bike tours of Washington DC. We boast “5 Star Fun” and are dedicated to becoming the highlight of your trip! Bicycle tours are conducted on our comfort hybrid bikes, E-Bikes, kids bikes and other kids equipment. Due to safety considerations, we are unable to accommodate adult tandem bikes on tours. Reservations are strongly recommended as tours do sell out. Walk-ups are welcome and accommodated based on availability. For your enjoyment and safety our tours are divided into small groups (15 riders for bike guide and 8 riders per Segway guide). Private and large group tours are available with advance notice. Tour Terms
Participants or parent/legal guardian must read and sign the waiver form prior to taking a tour.
We welcome participants of all ages on our bike tours. Participants younger than 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian present.
For the participant’s safety, a helmet is provided everyone must wear a properly fitted helmet at all times while riding.
During [email protected] tours, participants must wear reflective safety vest provided.
Participants must agree to follow all traffic laws, signs, rules, and regulations while riding. Due to safety precautions and respect for other people on your tour, we ask that participants not use cellular telephones, operate cameras or smoke cigarettes while riding.
Public tours begin and end just a block and half from the National Mall.
Once you make a reservation, we will provide an email which contains directions.
Directions are also on our web site. Please note, all participants should arrive for check-in at least 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. We highly encourage you to allow for extra travel time when you are booked on a weekday morning or weekday evening tour.
Segway Rules
DC law requires all Segway riders be 16 years of age or older. Bike and Roll DC participants aged 16 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian while on tour.
Riders must weigh a minimum of 100lbs and a maximum of 260lbs (45 to 136 kg).
Women who are pregnant may not ride the Segways.
Participants must be able to comfortably balance and stand on their own for 2 1/2-3 hours.
Customers must view our safety video before the tour. We suggest you plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your tour start time. Late arriving customers may be asked to reschedule their tours. We also ask that customers wear closed toe shoes.
