1.) Labor Day Capitol Concert

When: Sunday, September 6; 3 PM-11 PM

Where: U.S. Capitol, West Lawn; 1st Street SE

Say farewell to Summer 2015 with a FREE Labor Day Capitol Concert at the U.S. Capitol.  This annual concert, performed by the National Symphony Orchestra and produced by the Kennedy Center, celebrates the beginning of the performing arts season.  Ride bikes to the West Lawn of the Capitol, pack a picnic and enjoy a fun Sunday evening—even better: no school or work on Monday!

2.) Enjoy Some Unconventional Barbecue

When: Friday, September 4-Sunday, September 6

Where: Graffiato; 707 6th Street NW

Don’t have the time or the tools to put on one final summer barbecue?  Not to worry!  Try a different style of ‘cue—Italian style, that is—at Graffiato in Chinatown.  $25 will get you an eclectic meal full of brisket, Chinatown-style ribs, cacio e pepe pasta, baked white beans, and artichoke slaw. The meal is offered Friday- Sunday, call Graffiato for reservations.

3.) Go to a baseball game!

Where: Nationals Park!—1500 S. Capitol Street SE

The Nationals need all the fan support they can get right now as they battle for first place in the NL East.  Enjoy your day off watching baseball, eating a hot dog and sipping a cold beverage!  Why not bike to the ballpark? In addition to over 250 bike racks around Nats Park, the ballpark also offers a FREE bike valet, located in Garage C at the corner of N & 1st Street, SE.
