National Christmas Tree Lighting 
Coming to you live tonight (12/4) at 5:00PM! The 92nd annual National Christmas Tree Lighting will take place on the White House Ellipse, and will feature special guests including Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, and Patti LaBelle. (Cue O Tannenbuam, O Tannenbaum!)

ZooLights at the National Zoo
Running through January 1st (5-9PM daily), ZooLights features elaborate light displays throughout the National Zoo, live musical performances, winter treats, and holiday shopping! The perfect holiday tradition for the whole family.

Downtown DC Holiday Market
The 10th annual DC Holiday Market returns! This holiday “village” is situated in downtown DC at 8th and F Streets and hosts over 150 regional artisans, crafters, and boutique businesses that will offer a wide array of holiday goodies for anyone on your nice list.

National Menorah Lighting
The spectacular lighting ceremony of the National Chanukah Menorah will take place on December 16th at 4:00PM. The ceremony will offer live performances, menorah kits and dreidels, and even hot latkes!

New Year’s Eve in DC
Ring in 2015 in true DC style! From midnight cruises, to first night events, to fireworks, there certainly is no shortage of things to do in the DMV area to celebrate the end of 2014!
